Group Mail Manager offer easy affordable web-based email response management. This software tool lets you catch emails at generic address, such as sales@abccorp.com etc. This will let you access the entire history of a customer and allow you to send template based response that is appropriate. GMM can work with Sales and Marketing, Customer Service and Support Departments that uses generic email inboxes. It is completely web based. You could set up individual and private accounts too, besides the group addresses. On logging in, you get to the screen that shows you listings of the folder content. The interface is tabbed. Tabs include contacts, settings, reports etc. the contacts tab leads you to features that let you manage contact details and groups. Editing of individual contacts is also through this screen access.
Settings are the crucial tab yet is built on the same intuitive style. The settings are grouped under personal, preferences, signature, reply & forwarding message and account related. Most organizations need to use these group mails. Unless they are managed appropriately, responses on mails received on these addresses tend to fall through the cracks. Yet, very often important functions such as customer support are associated with it. Typically you also need to look at what mails would have been received from the same contact earlier. This tool does take care of such needs. Whether the functionality offered is enough in your situation, can only be judged when this tool is tested in the actual workflow.
